    <li>The Biodiversity Literature Repository (BLR) is a research infrastructure (RI) comprising the <a href="https://zenodo.org/communities/biosyslit/?page=1&size=20" target="_blank">BLR Community on Zenodo</a> at the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN), and services to search and retrieve the data such as <a href="https://ocellus.info" target="_blank">Ocellus</a>, the <a href="https://test.zenodeo.org" target="_blank">Zenodeo API</a>, <a href="https://synospecies.plazi.org" target="_blank">Synospecies</a> and the <a href="https://biolitrepo.org" target="_blank">BLR website</a>.</li>
    <li>BLR’s focus is on biodiversity data liberated from scholarly publications, and it uses custom metadata linking to external vocabularies covering the needs of the biodiversity community.</li>
</ul>

    <li>All data in BLR are released under the <a href="https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/" target="_blank">CC0 Public Domain Dedication</a><sup><a href="#" class="tooltip" data-tooltip="As mentioned earlier, images are made available under an extended collective license that authorizes Plazi to re-use all published photos and other images for the purpose of indexing and making available the worldwide biodiversity literature in the context of BLR. The re-use of these data by third persons is ruled by the copyright regulation applicable to the re-user.">•••</a></sup>. In simple words, all data are free for anyone to use, anywhere, for any purpose. There are no restrictions imposed by Plazi. There is no need to ask permission.</li>
